Born from a love of helping cats and keeping things weird, the Blue Cat is Austin’s first and only cat café. They are dedicated to finding forever homes for the city’s stray and homeless felines and to providing a unique experience where cat lovers can cozy up to the furry objects of their affection. They work closely with animal charities around Austin to bring cats to the café, where they can be petted, adored, and — with any luck — adopted by patrons.

See their menu. Be sure to check their social media to make sure they are open. Sometimes, the café will close early or for the day to give the kitties a break. Their is a $5 admission fee.  

Hours of operation are Tuesday through Thursday from 10 am till 9 pm. Friday through Saturday from 10 am till 10 pm. Sunday from 11 am till 7 pm.  The café is closed on Mondays.
